Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

Has a problem been found ?

	▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Power Circuit Inspection" procedure.

Measure the power voltage of "Rear Right side sensor" at SJB(Smart Junction Box)

Specification : Approx. 12V

Is the signal output normal ?

	▶ Go to "Ground Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Thoroughly check fuses or connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Measure voltage between power voltage of "Rear Right side sensor" at SJB(Smart Junction Box) and ground terminal of "Rear Right Sensor", LID1 terminal of "Rear Right Sensor" or LID2 terminal of "Rear Right Sensor".

Specification : Approx.12V

Is the signal output normal ?

	▶ Go to 'Inspection of LIN communication line between Rear Right Side Sensor and BCM[PAS(Parking Assist System)]
	▶ Check a circuit between Rear Right Side Sensor and chassis ground and poor connection . Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Measure a waveform of LIN communication line between Rear Right Side Sensor and BCM[PAS(Parking Assist System)]

Specification : Refer to "Signal Waveform"

Is measured value normal ?

	▶ Fault is intermittent caused by BCM[PAS(Parking Assist System)] DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Check a circuit between Rear Right Side Sensor and BCM[PAS(Parking Assist System)] and poor connection. And then repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
