Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.

Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

Has a problem been found?

	▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Go to "Power Circuit Inspection".

Ignition off & Engine off.

Disconnected "ATM solenoid valve" connector and TCM connector.

Measure resistance between power of ATM solenoid valve connector and power of TCM TCM connector.

Is the measured resistance within specification?

	▶ Go to "2.Circuit short Inspection" procedure.
	▶ Check circuit open of power and go to "Verification Vehicle Repair" procedure.

Ignition off & Engine off.

Disconnected "ATM solenod valve connector and TCM connector.

Measure a resistance between power of ATM solenoid valve connector and chassis ground.

Is the measured resistance within specifications?

	▶ Substitute with a known-good TCM and check for proper operation.If the problem is corrected, replace TCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Check harness for circuit short. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification Vehicle Repair" procedure.
