IG "ON".

Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

Using a GDS, Clear DTC.

5.

Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode again.

6.

Are any DTCs present ?

▶ Substitute with a known-good PCM(TCM) and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace PCM(TCM) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ If NG, replace HECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

※ In a case of replacing HECU, operate following functions

1) "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" for steering angle sensor offset correction (refer to C1261) - ESP(ESC) only

2) "Longituginal Sensor Calibration" for Longituginal sensor offset correction (refer to C1285) - ESP(ESC) only

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by faulty HECU, faulty PCM(TCM) or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
