Disconnect the A/C Pressure Sensor and PCM/ECM connectors and inspect for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage. Reconnect the connectors.
Connect the GDS and go to “Current Data”.
Monitor A/C Pressure Sensor values in Current Data, check and wiggle the harness(es), connector(s), and terminal(s).
Any change in the values indicates a poor connection. Was a connector problem found?

IG "OFF". Disconnect the A/C pressure sensor connector.
IG "ON"
Measure resistance between power terminal of A/C pressure S. harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Infinite
Is resistance within specification?

IG "OFF". Disconnect A/C pressure sensor and PCM/ECM connector.
IG "ON".
Measure voltage between power terminal of A/C pressure S. harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Approx. 5V
Is voltage within specification?

IG "OFF". Disconnect A/C pressure sensor and PCM/ECM connector.
Measure resistance between signal terminal of A/C pressure S. harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Infinite
Is resistance within specification?

IG "OFF". Disconnect A/C pressure sensor and PCM/ECM connector.
IG "ON".
Measure resistance between both ends of signal line.
