Component Inspection

IG "OFF".

2.

Disconnect VIS Sol. Valve harness connector.

3.

Measure resistance between power terminal and control terminal of VIS Sol. Valve connector. (Component side)

Specification : 30 ~ 35 Ω (22℃/71.6℉)

Is resistance within specification?

▶ Check for poor connection between PCM/ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Substitute with a known-good component and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace component and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
