Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

Monitor "Synchronization Succeeded", "Actual Engine Speed", "IN-Cam Bank1 Actual Position", "IN-Cam Bank1 Desired Position", "EX-Cam Bank1 Actual Position", "EX-Cam Bank1 Desired Position", "IN-Cam Phaser 1 Duty Cycle", "EX-Cam Phaser 1 Duty Cycle" parameter on the "Current data" with GDS.

Are the parameters displayed correctly?

	▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM/PCM’s connector or was repaired and ECM/PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
