Monitor GDS Data
1.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

Engine start and drive the vehicle on the road.

3.

Monitor the "Actual Engine Speed", "Brake Pedal Switch Active", "Brake Lamp Switch Active" parameter on the "Current data" with GDS.

Are the parameters displayed correctly ?

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor’s and/or ECM/PCM’s connector or was repaired and ECM/PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
