Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

Disconnect the variable intake solenoid valve connector (A).

Disconnect the vacuum hoses (B) from the valve.

Remove the installation bolt (C), and then remove the valve from the surge tank.
