Perform the "Driving" Oil-pressure Adaption.
※ Before perform the "Driving" Oil-pressure Adaption, Initialize and erase existing learnt value using GDS.
Erasing learnt value
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Perform Reseeting Auto T/A values in the "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS.
After erase learnt value, must be change "IG ON → IG OFF".
※ Erasing condition.
① IG ON, ENGINE OFF
② Shift lever : "P"
③ Vehicle speed : 0 km/h
Method of Oil-pressure Adaption in "D" range
① IG ON, ENGINE ON
② ATF temperature must be between 50℃(122℉) and 120℃(248℉).
③ Select "D" Range and step on the Accelerator pedal constantly, Driving 1st gear to 6th gear.
④ Stop the vehicle using normal braking When shift is completed from 1st gear to 6th gear.
⑤ Repeat above process at least 5times.
The Symptom is corrected?
![]() | ▶ The cause of this Symptom is Oil-pressure learning. So perform Basic inspection procedure. |

Service Data Inspection
2-1. "Throttle Position Sensor"/"Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor" Inspection
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Monitor the "Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor" parameters on the scantool
Step on Accelerator pedal and Release, then check the change output value of "Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor".

Fig.2 : WOT status
2-2. "Torque Convertor Clutch" Inspection
Connect scantool to data link connector(DLC)
"Engine ON"
Monitor the "Torque Convertor Clutch Solenoid Valve, Torque Convertor Clutch Control State, Torque Convertor Clutch Slip" parameters on the scantool.
Drive vehicle and Operate "Torque Convertor Clutch".
Fig.1 : Torque Convertor Clutch not working status
Fig.2 : Torque Convertor Clutch working status
Does "Shift shock" happened, When "Torque convertor clutch" operated?
※ Shock or Vibration can be happen When When "Torque Convertor Clutch" operated.
But If the Shock or Vibration is bigger than normal vehicle, check the resistance of "Torque Convertor Clutch Solenoid Valve" and Repair or replace as necessary.
If the resistance of "Torque Convertor Clutch Solenoid Valve" is within specification, Replace AUTO T/A.
The Symptom is corrected, after perform "Service Data Inspection"?
