Component Inspection

Ignition "OFF"

Disconnect OCV connector.

Measure resistance between power terminal and control terminal of the solenoid connector(Component side).

Specification :

Oil Control Valve (OCV)	Normal Parameter At 20℃ (68℉)
Coil Resistance (Ω)	9.9 ± 0.5Ω

Is resistance within specification?

	▶ Check for poor connection between PCM/ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
	▶ Substitute with a known - good OCV and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace OCV and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
