Measure signal waveform of MAPS and TPS together by stepping on and off the accellerator padel.
Specification : Refer to Signal Waveform & Data
IG KEY "OFF".
Connnect CH A probe to signal terminal MAPS and CH B probe to signal terminal of TPS connector.
Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
Measure signal waveform of MAPS and TPS together by stepping on and off the accellerator padel.
Specification : Refer to Signal Waveform & Data
Does the TPS operate properly? (Check variation)
 | ▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Substitute with a known-good TPS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace TPS and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
