Component Inspection
■ Perform HO2S(S1) Heater
1.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".

3.

Perform "Actuation Test" for HO2S(S1) Heater.

■ Inspection HO2S(S1) Heater
4.

IG Key "OFF".

5.

Disconnect HO2S(S1) connector.

6.

Measure resistance between heater power and heater control terminal of the HO2S(S1) Heater. (Component Side)

Specification : Approx. 3.2Ω ± 0.8Ω at 20℃ (68℉)

■ Confirm Part Inspection
7.

Does the HO2S(S1) Heater work properly? (Check variation)

▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Substitute with a known-good HO2S(S1) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace HO2S(S1) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
