Has a problem been found?
 | ▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Go to "Control Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Has a problem been found?
| ▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Go to "Control Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (+) & (-) terminal cable from the battery and wait at least one minutes.
Disconnect PAD SWITCH connector and SRSCM connector.
Measure resistance between terminal ".PAD Switch " of the main harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : ∞
Is the measured resistance within specifications?
| ▶ After checking connecting condition and short to ground from PAD SWITCH harness to SRSCM harness, repair or replace it if needed and go to "Verification and Vehicle Repair". ▶ Go to "Component Inspection". |
