Monitor DTC Status
1.

Connect GDS and select “Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)” mode.

2.

Confirm that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or enable conditions.

3.

Read “DTC Status” parameter in DTC menu of the GDS.

4.

Is parameter displayed "History(Not Present) fault" ?

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection and/or HECU's connector or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to next step.

Actuation Test
1.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

2.

IG "ON".

3.

Select the "Actuation Test" mode on the GDS.

4.

Inspect opearating status of TCS(USV) valve #2 with Actuation Test.

Specification :It's normal if operating sound is heard

Does a TCS(USV) valve #2 operate normally ?

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection and/or HECU's connector or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Go to next step.
