Disconnect the battery (-)terminal (A) and (+) terminal (B).

Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly.

(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

Remove the battery mounting bracket (A) and the insulation pad and then remove the battery (B).

Remove the ECM. (Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - “Engine Control Module (ECM)”)

Remove the battery tray (A) after removing the bolts.
