Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.

Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

Remove the intake manifold. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - “Intake Manifold”)

Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.
