Removal
Tensioner Bracket Type
1.

Loosen the drive belt tension by loosening the adjusting bolt (A).

2.

Remove the alternator upper mounting bolt (B).

3.

Remove the alternator bracket (C).

Auto Tensioner Type
1.

Remove the drive belt.

(Refer to Timing System - "Drive Belt")

2.

Remove the drive belt auto tensioner (A).

caution

The tensioner pulley bolt has left-hand thread.
