Remove the rear heating joint duct (A).
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Floor Console")
Remove the rear heating joint duct (A).
Disconnect the connector (A).
Disconnect the shift cable (A).
Remove the Shift lever assembly.
Disconnect the wiring (A) from the shift lever assembly.
Loosen the mounting bolts (B).
Tightening torque :
(B) 8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Install the cable after placing the shift lever and the transaxle manual control lever in the N position.
