Is the measured resistance within specifications?
![]() | ▶ Go to "TCM Inspection" procedure. |
![]() | ▶ Replace Oil temperature sensor as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
Ignition off & Engine Off.
Connect Oil temperature sensor connector.
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC) and select Simulation mode.
Input 0 -> 5 vlotage at Oil temperature sensor signal line by simulation mode and Monitoring Oil temperature sensor.
Fig 1) Simulation Output 1.00V → 73℃
Fig 2) Simulation Output 2.00V → 34℃
※ It is subject to change vehicle condition.
Is measured Oil temperature sensor value changed by input voltage?
![]() | ▶ Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
![]() | ▶ Substitute with a known-good TCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace TCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
