System Inspection
■ Check Generator circuit
1.

Start engine.

2.

Maintain ENG RPM 2,500RPM over 2 minutes.

3.

Measure voltage between the battery terminal(+) and the battery terminal(-).

Specification : Approx. 12.5 ~ 14.7V

4.

Is the measured voltage within specification?

▶ Check the condition of the battery (Refer to shop manual). Repair as necessary. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Check the tension of the drive belt. Check ENG RPM, fuses, terminals of the battery, all terminals of the generator. Check for a damaged harness and poor connections between the generator and battery. If no problems are found repair or replace the generator. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair” procedure.
