Check the condition of "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" by oprerating the vehicle (turn right and left at least 1 time)
Line up wheels like Fig.1).
Perform the wheel alignment.
Line up the wheel in a straight.
Drive the vehicle ahead and back 2~3 times without holding steering wheel.
Connect GDS to Data Link Connector. (DLC)
Go in Elec. Power Steering system.
Perform ASP calibration in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu of the GDS. (Fig. 2)
Check the condition of "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" by oprerating the vehicle (turn right and left at least 1 time)
Is "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" completed normally ?
 | ▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Calibration can be interruptted by related DTC occurred. If DTC presents, erase DTC and then perform "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" again. ▶ Substitute with a known-good Steering Angle Sensor and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace Steering Angle Sensor and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. ※ In a case of replacing the Steering Angle Sensor, operate "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu of the GDS. |
