Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode.

Using a GDS, Clear DTC.

Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes(DTC)" mode again.

Are any DTCs present ?

▶ The main cause of this code is that improper CAN signal from EPS system is detected.

▶ Check DTCs in EPS system. If there is a code in EPS system, Repair according to DTC diagonositic guide of EPS system.

▶ Fault is intermittent caused by faulty HECU or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared.Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
