Has a problem been found ?
 | ▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Go to "PSM Signal Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Has a problem been found ?
| ▶ Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Go to "PSM Signal Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
After connect GDS, select "Oscilloscope" mode.
Measure the signal waveform on PSM CAN High line.
Specification : Refer to "Signal Waveform"
Does the measured signal waveform follow the specification?
| ▶ Go to "CAN Low Line Inspection" procedure. |
| ▶ Check short to battery or ground. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
After connect GDS, select "Oscilloscope" mode.
Measure the signal waveform on PSM CAN Low line.
Specification : Refer to "Signal Waveform"
Does the measured signal waveform follow the specification?
| ▶ Go to "Component Inspection" procedure. |
| ▶ Check short to battery or ground. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
