Rear Wiper Motor
1.

Remove the connector from the rear wiper motor.

2.

Connect battery positive (+) and negative (-) cables to terminals 4 and 3(wiper motor bracket) respectively.

3.

Check that the motor operates normally. Replace the motor if it operates abnormally.

caution

Sparks can be happen when connecting wiper motor bracket(no.3 ground) with the status that the battery (+) terminal is connected.

When the rear wiper motor is on inspection, the motor assembly can move. So fix the motor assembly surely.

The operator should be insulated when connecting the terminals. (Using the flat driver with knob, connect the terminal 2 and 4.)

Be careful not to change the order(no.4 and no.5).

1.

Remove the rear wiper motor assembly.

(Refer to Body Electrical - "Rear Wiper Motor")

A.

Mark the blade set position (A) before removing the rear wiper motor.

2.

Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3.

3.

Disconnct the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 except the rear wiper blade set position.

4.

Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 3. (With the status that the rear wiper motor does not work.)

5.

Check that the motor moves to auto stop position by connecting the terminal 2 and 4.
