■ Steering Angle Sensor Calibration [MDPS Type]
1.

Line up wheels like Figure 1.

(1)

Perform the wheel alignment.

(2)

Set the steering wheel so that the wheels point straight ahead.

(3)

Go ahead and Go back the vehicle 2~3 times without holding steering wheel.

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).

3.

Go in Elec. Power Steering system.

4.

Perform ASP calibration. (Figure 2).

5.

Check the condition of "SAS 0 SET" by oprerating the vehicle (turn right and left at least 1 time)

6.

Is "SAS 0 SET" completed normally?

▶ Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ Substitute with a known-good HECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace HECU and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

※ In a case of replacing HECU, operate following functions

1) "HAC Enable/Disable" for HAC set. - ESP only

2) "Longituginal Sensor Calibration" for Longituginal sensor offset correction (refer to C1285) - ESP only

※ Above function should be preformed in order of precedence [1)→2)]
