Has a problem been found?
 | ▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
 | ▶ Go to "Warning lamp Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals.
Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Has a problem been found?
| ▶ Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Go to "Warning lamp Circuit Inspection" procedure. |
Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect PAB Indicator(Trip Computer) main harness connector.
Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Measure voltage between terminal "PAB ON LAMP" of the PAB Indicator(Trip Computer) main harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Batt Voltage
Is the measured voltage within specifications?
| ▶ Check airbag Cluster fuse, airbag off warning lamp, junction box, harness between junction block and SRSCM . Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
| ▶ Substitute a known-good SRSCM, and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace SRSCM and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure. |
