Cluster Replacement
note

When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1.

Remove the crash pad side cover (A).

2.

Remove the fuse box cover (A).

3.

Disconnect the crash pad switch connectors (A).

4.

After loosening the mounting screws and nut, then remove the lower panel (A).

5.

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the cluster fascia panel (A).

6.

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the cluster (A).

7.

Disconnect the connectors (A).

8.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

note

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

Lower Panel Replacement
note

When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.

Remove the crash pad side cover (A).

2.

Remove the fuse box cover (A).

3.

Disconnect the crash pad switch connectors (A).

4.

After loosening the mounting screws and nut, then remove the lower panel (A).

5.

Installation is the reverse the removal.

Audio Assembly Replacement
1.

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the center fascia garnish (A).

2.

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the center fascia lower panel assembly (A).

3.

Disconnect the connectors (A).

4.

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the audio assembly (A).

5.

Disconnect the connectors (A).

6.

Installation is the reverse the removal.

note

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

Heater Control Unit Replacement
1.

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the center fascia garnish (A).

2.

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the center fascia lower panel assembly (A).

3.

Disconnect the connectors (A).

4.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

Glove Box Housing Replacement
1.

Remove the crash pad side cover (A).

2.

Disconnect the air bag connector (A).

3.

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the glove box housing (A).

4.

Disconnect the connector (A).

5.

Installation is the reverse the removal.

Shroud Replacement
1.

Afrer loosening the munting screws, then remove the shroud assembly (A).

2.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Crash Pad Side Cover Replacement

Main Crash Pad Replacement

Remove the following items.

Front seat

(Refer to the BD group – “Front Seat”)

B.

Cluster fascia panel & cluster assembly

C.

Crash pad lower panel & crash pad lower cover

D.

Audio assembly

E.

Center fascia upper panel assembly

F.

Center fascia lower panel assembly

G.

Glove box housing

H.

Crash pad side cover

I.

Front pillar trim

(Refer to the BD group – “Interior Trim”)

J.

Cowl side trim

(Refer to the BD group- Interior Trim”)

K.

Steering column

(Refer to the ST group - "Steering Column and Shaft")

2.

Disconnect the passenger`s air bag connector (A).

3.

Loosen the mounting bolt.

4.

Disconnect the connector (A) mounting clip.

[Passenger’s]

5.

Disconnect the air duck connector (A).

[Driver’s]

6.

Disconnect the connector (A) mounting clip.

7.

Using a screwdriver, remove the photo sensor (A).

8.

Disconnect the photo sensor connector (B).

9.

After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the crash pad assembly (A).

10.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

note

Make sure the crash pad fits onto the guide pins correctly.

Before tightening the bolts, make sure the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.

Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.

Enter the anti- theft code for the radio, then enter the customer`s radio station presets.

Cowl Cross Bar Replacement
1.

Remove the following items.

A.

Front seat (Refer to the BD group – “Front Seat”)

B.

Floor console (Refer to the BD group – “Console”)

C.

Main crash pad (Refer to the BD group – “Crash pad”)

D.

Cowl top cover (Refer to the BD group – “Cowl top cover”)

2.

Disconnect the blower unit connectors.

(Refer to the HA group - "Air conditioning system, Heater, Blower")

3.

Disconnect the connectors.

4.

Loosen the mounting bolt.

5.

Disconnect the air bag connectors (A).

6.

Disconnect the main connectors.

[Driver's]

[Passenger's]

7.

Loosen the mounting bolts.

8.

After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the cowl cross bar (A).

9.

Installation is the reverse of removal.
