Disconnect the ignition switch connector (B) and immobilizer key warning switch connector (A) from under the steering column.

Check for continuity between the terminals.

If continuity is not specified, replace the switch.

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.

(Refer to the BD group - "Crash pad")

Remove the ignition switch (A) after loosening the screws with IGN ON and disconnecting the 6P connector (B).

Remove the immobilizer coil assembly (A) after disconnecting the 6P connector (B).

If it is necessary to remove the key lock cylinder (A), Remove the key lock cylinder after pushing lock pin (B) with key ACC.

Install the key lock cylinder with key ACC.

Install the immobilizer coil assembly.

Install the ignition switch.

Install the steering column shrouds.
