The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) monitors the air pressure in the tires of the vehicle. The TPMS system consists of the TPMS Module (ECU) and TPMS sensors in each wheel. If the tire pressure drops below a certain pressure, the TPMS Module illiminates the TPMS warning lamp to notify the driver. The TPMS sensors are installed at each of the wheels. The sensors measure the air pressure and the temperature of the tire, along with other date, and then transmits the information to the TPMS Module. The TPMS sensors communicate with the TPMS Module via RF(Radio Frequency).
