Component Inspection
1.

Ignition "OFF"

2.

Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.

3.

Disconnect Clutch switch connector.

4.

Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Ground) and Pin No. 2 (Signal) of Clutch switch (Component Side).

Specification : Approx. below 1Ω (In case of ON the Gear R Switch) / Approx. ∞ Ω (In case of OFF the Gear R Switch)

5.

Is measure value within specification?

▶ If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the HECU. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

▶ If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the Gear R Switch. Go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

caution

In case of replacing HECU, perform following procedures.

1. Perform "Auto Detected Configuration Reset(ESP(ESC) Only)" for Varian Coding.

2. Perform "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" for steering angle sensor.

3. "Longitudinal G-Sensor Calibration(HAC/DBC Only)" for longitudinal sensor offset correction.
