Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the EGR Cooler bypass solenoid valve connector.
Measure resistance between the valve terminals 1 and 2.
Check that the resistance is within the specification.
Specification : 28.3 ~ 31.1 [20℃(68℉)]
Connect the GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Idle the engine or turn the igntion switch ON.
Check the temperature of ECTS.

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Disconnect the EGR cooler bypass solenoid valve connector (A).
Disconnect the vacuum hoses (B) from the EGR cooler bypass solenoid valve.
Remove the valve (C) after removing the mounting bolt.
Install the component with the specified torques.
Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. In this case, use it after inspecting.
Installation is reverse of removal.
